Emotional and Mental
According to well established medical evidence, 75-90% of ALL doctor visits are due to conditions related to emotional and mental stress! Let that sink in for a moment. The very health issue that brought you to this place is most likely related to the things that happened in your heart and mind.
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine researchers discovered that corticosterone (stress hormone) not only has the ability to damage the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis, creating major disruptions in the endocrine system, but also change gene expression, leading to methylation dysfunction. This is only one example of why it is so important to take the time to consider our childhood experiences, state of our relationships, family, school and work - all factors that activate our emotions and stress responses. But if that isn't enough, we are also reminded about it in ancient texts as well...
Above all that thou guardest keep thy heart; For out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23
The video below is an introduction into the correlation between our childhood experiences and health problems. It is also an invitation to walk in wellness in body, soul and spirit!
The Aleph-Tav Body System recognizes that our emotional, mental, relational and spiritual health is key to healing on every level. We recommend this level of emotional healing in order to address many spiritual issues as well.

Common Emotional Items
Negative Emotions: Negative emotions are defined as an energetic or biochemical reaction that, when prolonged, too intense or unresolved, causes dis-ease or distress to a person. There are NO MORAL attachments made to emotions - no such a thing as a "bad" emotion. The foundation negative emotions that are consistently a problem for all people at a subconscious level are
Shame - the feeling of not being enough, being worthless, not deserving, being defective or bad (this is not shame or guilt for what you have "done", it is a deep feeling of defectiveness for "being". This toxic shame never leads to seeking help or restoration because it believes we are unworthy of or unable to be any different.
Lack of Attachment Pain - the pain we feel due to a relationship need that was never met or a rupture in relationship. For example, the pain a child feels when a parent is not able to emotionally connect or attune with the child or the pain we feel when a grown child moves away, during a divorce or death. The type of attachment we had with our caregivers in childhood will determine the quality and health of our adult relationships.
Powerlessness - the main emotion related to fear that causes us to feel that we have no control. This fear is often triggered by lack, the inability to fix or influence our environment in a way that will positively benefit us or those we love.
These 3 emotions, unlike the rest of the emotions that we experience, were first experienced in the garden of Eden, when humans were separated from the Creator. They have been passed down from our first parents through our DNA, which makes them more profound and impactful than other similar emotions.

Trapped Emotions: The energetic signature of an emotion that gets stuck in the body and causes a disturbance on a physical or emotional level.

Flower Essences: Infusions made from the flowering part of a plant used as a holistic treatment seek to address the mental, emotional, and even spiritual aspects of wellness. The use of flower essences, however, relies on the concept that the positive energy of a plant can relieve a negative emotional state.

Trauma: Any event that caused harm or threat of harm (physical, emotional, sexual, spiritual, psychological) which had a lasting impact on a person emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally, sexually, socially or financially. Trauma can be a one time event like a car accident or ongoing such as a major medical diagnosis, being raised by an alcoholic or emotional neglect.
GEM: Generational experiences that have created patterns in the way that we experience particular situations and process events. We can see that an event in an ancestor can adversely affect the way we feel and behave in similar settings. A great example of this are survivors of the concentration camps and how the DNA is markedly changed by these memories in future generations.
